Instagram has quickly become the number one place for you to see photos from people and places from all over the world. You are able view the photos in the photo-stream but it is not easy to save the photos so that you are able to view them later. Even though you are not able to directly save the photos from the app, there are some workarounds that you can use to get photos off the app and onto your device. This is just to protect the copyright on the photos of the owners. It is worth noting that you are not allowed to use or even save another person’s work for profit and you should always give credit to the owner of the photo.
First, you can save Instagram photos through third party sites and apps. Search on the internet and choose a site that is unaffiliated to the Instagram to help you download the photos. Usually, you will be able to search the username then go ahead and get the photos. At the bottom of the web page, there is usually the option of saving the image after you have clicked on it. Most of the time, these sites will work on mobile browsers ad well as on your laptop.
It is worth noting that when you get these apps to help you download Instagram pictures, they will request for access. Once you allow them access, you are able to click and download any photos in the photo stream. However, you will be giving the developer of the app the right to take your information from your account. The other way you can get photos from Instagram is by logging into your account and finding the photo you want to save. You can then navigate to the photo that you want to download. There are gray ellipses at the right corner of the picture and there is an option of viewing the photo page.
Isolate the picture with the view background image option and if you right click on the picture and choose that option you will be able to open a new page that will exclusively show you the photo. Save the image to your device by right clicking in your new page and there will be the option of saving the image as. The image by default is going to be saved in your photo library.
